报告题目:Circuit QED with tunable topological qubit arrays

报告摘要:Superconducting circuits are useful for studying quantum optics, quantum computation and quantum simulation. In present experiments, arrays with 10-20 qubits are demonstrated. In this presentation, I will discuss topological protections in small-scale superconducting quantum chips. On one hand, circuit QED may open a way for topological phenomena, by exploring advantages of superconducting circuits, e.g., tunable qubit-qubit and qubit-photon interactions. On the other hand, topology may provide new degrees of freedom for studying quantum physics, with potential applications in quantum computation and quantum optics.
报告人简介:聂伟博士2017年毕业于新加波国立大学,目前在清华大学微电子所从事博士后研究工作。主要研究方向为超导量子芯片上的量子模拟以及拓扑量子光学,例如拓扑保护的光与物质相互作用等。
