报告摘要

In this series of lectures, I briefly review important topics of the information loss paradox. I first review Hawking radiation as well as the information loss paradox of black holes. Next, I review the entropy from the Euclidean path integral approach as well as the information theoretical point of view. Finally, I review the controversy of the information loss paradox and discuss modern perspectives about this issue.

报告人简介

Professor Dong-han received his Ph.D. from KAIST in 2011, and subsequently, he worked at Sogang University, Kyoto University, National Taiwan University, and Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics. Now he is an assistant professor at Pusan National University in Korea.

Professor Dong-han’s research interests mainly focused on quantum gravity, black hole physics, and related topics, and he has done a lot of outstanding research on the black hole information problem. More recently, he is working on Solving the information paradox via the Euclidean path integral.
